Is ‘Ghost Recon’ The Future For Us Soldiers? (05/16/2012)
Back in the good ole days of Xbox Live, Ubisoft were the kings of my multiplayer sessions.  As an avid player of both Rainbow Six 3 andGhost Recon 2, I remember the countless hours declining invites to Halo 2 in favor of playing online sessions in the Tom Clancy universe.  As time went on though, Ubisoft has improved their lineup tremendously, but I found myself not interested in their multiplayer offerings.

Spec Ops: The Line – The Silent Killer? (05/10/2012)
Military shooters.  To say the least, they have become all the rage in the industry today.  Some call it repetition, others say it lacks originality.  To this gamer – we could always use another shooter.  A hard day dealing with customers – nothing more satisfying than taking out a few bad guys in a virtual environment.

Review: Twisted Metal (03/08/2012)
For some, their most memorable original PlayStation title was Final Fantasy VII.  For others, possibly Metal Gear Solid.  Both are respective choices.  Both defined quality, well balanced gameplay, and were all in all worthy of their asking prices.  For this reviewer, it has always been and will always be Twisted Metal 2.  The original Twisted Metal showed us the potential of this franchise, but its sequel defined what the series is all about.  Since then, every Twisted Metal game that has been released I have always compared to TM2.  2001′s Twisted Metal Black came the closest.  What about 2012′s reboot?  How does it compare?

Review: House of the Dead III (02/16/2012)
For years it has been a dream of mine that we would see the resurgence ofVirtua Cop.  For now, I’m happy to take on House of the Dead III, once a Xbox-exclusive that I always wanted to play, but never got around to it.  Thankfully it has been re-released for the PlayStation Network with full Move support.  It’s been a long time since I have used my Move and the Precision Shot 3 accessory that was purchased for use in the only other light gun game in my collection, The Shoot.

Review: Battlefield 3 (02/10/2012)
The competition between Call of Duty and Battlefield leading into this holiday was quite stiff.  Battlefield gave players a chance to test the game out early, where as Call of Duty remained closed off until public release.  I take little consideration into betas anyway.  Between the two styles of multiplayer, I find myself edging towards Battlefield.  It’s not that I have anything against Call of Duty, in fact I believe it to be the most robust multiplayer experience out there for FPS fans.  I simply don’t have time for two MP shooters.  With that, wasBattlefield 3 the war simulation that EA kept raving about?

Review: Batman Arkham City (02/04/2012)
As with the Christopher Nolan trilogy of Batman flicks for film, Rocksteady Studios has done justice when it comes to serving us a great deal of virtual Batman.  Many were surprised just not at the success of 2008′s Batman Arkham Asylum, but that it was actually good.  In fact, it was damn good.  At its core it was just a simple beat ‘em up, but this was a Batman game we’ve waited years for.  It decided not to go Hollywood, decided to stay away from basing it off of the freshly released new trilogy of films, and go back to the basics.
